Women in Ofua Zone receive seed capital

As a response to COVID 19 effects, women in Ofua Zone received a grant to support promising small businesses re-emerge in business in Rhinocamp refugee settlement. Therefore, 30 women benefited from the seed capital of atleast 200,000 Uganda shillings each. The small business women selected were from Ofua 1, Ofua 2, Ofua 3 and Akino villages in Oriama subcounty, Terego District.

This brings to a total of 150 women who have benefited from the "Youth Educated, Youth Empowered" project that has been supported by the Aga Khan Foundation with funding from European Union and other donors
